Psalms 51:12-13
12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
13 Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,
And sinners shall be converted to You.
This Psalm is a prayer of King David when he was caught in his sin with Bathsheba.
But one thing I noticed about his words through this whole Psalm is in verse 13.
"Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You."
Basically David was saying that he would be a witness for the Lord.
You see David knew he was a sinner and he repented of his sin. The same way we do as Christians. And David wanted to be able to share God's grace and mercy in his life with others. And by reading about King David's life we see he did just that.
So what about you?
How has your witness been lately?
Have you been sharing God's grace and mercy towards you a sinner with others? Or do you just take it lightly now; forgetting that His grace and mercy still sustains your soul?
Maybe today is the day you need to realize that His love is never ending towards you, and the sin(s) you just committed 15 minutes ago is still part of His grace and mercy.
Maybe someone else needs to hear about God's love for him or her today. It could be someone at work or school, maybe the clerk at the store, your hairdresser or barber. Maybe it's someone at home or in your family.
Today, someone around you is hurting and needs to hear of God's Love, Grace and Mercy for them.
Today God has put "YOU" there to tell them.
