with God
John 1:47-51 (NLT)
47 As they approached, Jesus said, "Here comes an honest man--a true son of Israel."
48 "How do you know about me?" Nathanael asked.
And Jesus replied, "I could see you under the fig tree before Philip found you."
49 Nathanael replied, "Teacher, you are the Son of God--the King of Israel!"
50 Jesus asked him, "Do you believe all this just because I told you I had seen you under the fig tree? You will see greater things than this." 51 Then he said, "The truth is, you will all see heaven open and the angels of God going up and down upon the Son of Man."
Do you remember when you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior?
Maybe it was just one verse that spoke to your heart.
Or maybe you saw a change in someone's life.
You probably just had the faith of a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds.
But what about now, have you planted that little seed of faith and now see what you never thought you would in your life?
I'm not talking about weird things happening, but rather God doing awesome things in your life.
Maybe it's the person you're married to, or the job you have. How about your kids or your friends?
Maybe its way God's word just comes alive to you or the way you now pray.
Think about your walk with the Lord from where you were, to where you are right now.
Possibly the biggest thing you have seen is the change in your own life.
I know for me, the way I was and the way I am now is a total miracle from God. Only He could have made me into what I am today.
Maybe you are a new Christian, only walking with the Lord for a short time.
My friend, you will see the Lord do so much in your life and the life of others.
As in Jesus' words:
"You will see greater things than this"
And the greatest thing we look forward to seeing is the face of our Lord and Savior, Jesus!
