Matt 15:2 & 6b
"Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread."
Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition.
The world and even other Christians are so quick to judge others and the things they are doing.
Music for example; I love all types of Christian music, including hard rock, and if you have been to the website that the Lord has allowed me to have my worship music on, and have seen my picture, then you know my hair is not real short, but rather long.
But some will hear this worship music with its loud guitars and heavy beats and call it "devil music".
Why, because they don't like it. They may have been raised on softer music, which is ok with me because I really enjoy that type as well, but that's no reason to judge someone who likes the heavier stuff. I can sing "Praise God" or "Give Him glory" or "Worship Him" in a soft or loud tone, because God does not listen to the music, but rather a person's heart as they sing out to Him.
For those who do such a thing, and not only with music but also with other things as well, you will ask this same question:
Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders?
Notice they asked about the tradition of the elders , they didn't care what God thought, just what they were taught by man.
But I love Jesus' answer:
Thus you have made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition.
Will you stop someone from praising God from their heart because of your traditions?
I challenge you to read the words to these songs, and you will see some of them are totally awesome, and just because you may not like the music, you will find the words express how your heart feels towards God.
Electric guitars, drums, keyboards, horns, and so on are not a sin.
I think the sin is those who refuse to worship God, and even worse, not allowing others to express their love for Him in their own way.
Romans 14:10 (NLT) So why do you condemn another Christian? Why do you look down on another Christian? Remember, each of us will stand personally before the judgment seat of God.
