Matt 14:17-18

17 And they said to Him, "We have here only five loaves and two fish." 18 He said, "Bring them here to Me."

Wouldn't you love to win the Lotto?
I know if I did, I would quit my job and teach the bible full time on the Internet as well as record and give away Praise music.
Another thing I would like to do is open a Christian book store, that actually has books in it and praise music and sell everything for what I paid for it and/or even giving books, bibles and Christian music away.

But you know what, I don't need to win the Lotto to serve the Lord, and neither do you.
Here in today's devotional verse we all know this story of how Jesus fed 5,000 men plus women and children with only five loaves and two fish.
Jesus didn't need to play the Lotto to feed these people, no all He had to do was trust in God and use what was provided to Him, which were only five loaves and two fish.

So maybe like me, you have very little material things, but Jesus says to you and me

He said, "Bring them here to Me."

The Lord doesn't want you to be rich to serve Him, just obedient with what you have, no matter how little it may be.
So ask the Lord what He wants from you, no matter how little it may be, and ask Him to multiply it for His glory.
You may not feed 5,000 but then Jesus said:

Matt 10:42 "And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward."

A cup of water seems so little to us, yet even this little offering you will be rewarded for.
