John 10:10

"The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

What is one of the main things the devil tries to destroy with Christians? The marriage.
If you look at the divorce rate for Christians, the numbers would blow you away, and they are getting worse each year.
The devil knows how and where to hit us and that's in our marriages.
Even Jesus said in today's devotional verse: The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy.

And that's just what the devil is doing, stealing husbands from their wives and vice versa.
Killing the marriage, and destroying the family with divorce.
Every time you get upset with your spouse and refuse to forgive him or her, the devil is down there jumping up and down for joy because he is accomplishing what he has set out to do.
But on the other hand, when spouses learn to forgive one another and keep their eyes on Jesus, then Jesus is rejoicing over our marriages.

So the question is, whom are you causing to rejoice, Jesus or the devil?

If you knew a thief was in your home and was stealing from you, destroying your home and even ready to kill your family, would you just sit back and let him?

That's just what the thief is doing to our marriages, and we just sit back and let him do it.
It's time to call the ultimate judge, Jesus to judge this thief and for us to clean up our homes from the mess this thief has done in it.

If your home were destroyed you wouldn't be happy in it, but when everything is in its place and in order then you enjoy your home.

So start putting things back in order in your marriage by first forgiving and loving one another.
If you have decided that you don't want to, then know that the devil is rejoicing and you will never have real joy in your marriage, or even in your relationship with Jesus.
