Psalms 139:1-2 (NLT)

1 O LORD, you have examined my heart
and know everything about me.
2 You know when I sit down or stand up.
You know my every thought when far away.

If you have been coming here for a while, then you probably know that I am married and have two little babies, as well as an adult son and two grand kids.
They are all a big responsibility and I do my best to take care of them.
So we are talking about six people here, but we also have another baby on the way due the beginning of next year. So now that's seven. Now with my son all grown up and living on his own with his two little ones, it's really three right now, with number four on the way. Thinking about this kind of makes your head spin a little.
But then there are those who have 10-15 children. Could you imagine trying to take care of and providing for that many kids day after day?
Now think of trying to take care of over 6,000,000,000 (six billion) people all at one time. It would be impossible. But you know what, God does it each and every day. Rain or shine He is always here taking care of everyone on this earth.
He feeds over six billion people everyday as well as gives them fluids to drink. He provides jobs and home for all of them. He provides pets and cars, clothes and shoes, fish and cattle and on and on. To provide for that many people is so astounding that to think about it really makes your head spin.
But God does it, and the most awesome part is that He knows each and every person by name. He knows when we are sad or happy, hurting or rejoicing, hungry or full, thirsty or satisfied, and on and on.

When you think about all the people God takes care of everyday, and the simple fact that He knows us all and takes time at any moment to listen to us and take care of our needs. We should never, ever doubt God again because:

O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me.
You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my every thought when far away.
