Jer 20:9

Then I said, "I will not make mention of Him,
Nor speak anymore in His name."
But His word was in my heart like a burning fire
Shut up in my bones;
I was weary of holding it back,
And I could not.

Have you ever been upset with God?
I know that's a tough question to ask, and something we have all done at one time or another.
When you got upset with God did you tell Him that you just weren't going to pray anymore, or tithe, or go to church, or even mention His name to others anymore?
Once again a tough question and one we maybe are too ashamed to answer.
But to be honest, I have gotten upset with God and even said that I was through teaching His word, that I just couldn't do it any longer. But you know what, I'm still teaching His word.
If I don't teach then a joy in my life is totally gone, because I don't know anything better then studying God's word and teaching it to others.
I can truly relate to Jeremiah here when he says:

But His word was in my heart like a burning fire
I was weary of holding it back,
And I could not.

So why did I get upset with God? Does it really matter why, what matters is that He knew what I was going through and forgave me and would not let me give up.
I write this to encourage you not to give up on God, because He has not given up on you and will NEVER leave you or forsake you. You have His word on it!
