Is it not evil?
And when you offer the lame and sick,
Is it not evil?
Offer it then to your governor!
Would he be pleased with you?
Would he accept you favorably?"

What time do you start work? 8:00am or 9:00am?
Maybe you work nights and start in the evening.
Either way, what time are you supposed to be at work?
Let's say 8:00am, so what time do you actually get to work?
Maybe 8:05 or even 8:15?
"No way" , you may say, I would get in trouble if I came in late to work all the time.
OK, so keeping that in mind, what time does your church start on Sunday?
Maybe at 9:30am?
But what time do you get there?
"9:45am or so But that's ok, all they do is sing or have announcements. I'm there for the teaching, because after all isn't that the reason I'm there anyway?"
Look at today's devotional again.

When you come to church late each week, are you really giving your best to the Lord, or are you really putting God second or third to the things you think are more important to do instead of getting to church on time?

Offer it then to your governor!
Would he be pleased with you?
Would he accept you favorably?"

You come to God's house late each week, would your boss be happy with you if you did this at work?
So then, who are you honoring more, God or your boss?
