Gen 2:18 (NLT)

And the LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a companion who will help him."

Today we are going to talk about wives. Not in a bad sense, but rather in a good sense as God created them to be.
I know if it wasn't for my wife, I would not be able to do this ministry at all. She takes care of the children at night so I can study the bible and write the devotionals and the bible studies. I'm here in my little room (office) having a great time in God's word, while she is out there changing dirty diapers.
I have the joy of allowing God's word to sweetly penetrate my heart, as she is out there listening to the baby's cry, which can penetrate the ears.
I get to converse on an adult level as I teach adults God's word, while she is out there trying to understand the sounds our little ones make.
Wives are the unsung hero's of men, without them, we would be incomplete. God knew that, that's why He created women so that we can be complete.

And the LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a companion who will help him."

So husbands, be thankful for your wives and all they do so that you can serve.
If you are a wife, do not get discouraged because any ministry that your husband is in, you are a part of, maybe a silent partner, the one who most people do not see, but then it doesn't matter what man sees, but rather what God sees.

Matt 6:3-4 3 "But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4 "that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.

So, remember that being a helpmate to your husband is a blessing from the Lord.
In addition, men remember that having a helpmate is your blessing from the Lord, and you both with share in the rewards for the fruit of your labors together in heaven.

Phil 4:17 (NLT) I don't say this because I want a gift from you. What I want is for you to receive a well-earned reward because of your kindness.
