5 Minutes a day / 5 Days a week

with God

Gen 2:6-7

6 but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground. 7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Have you ever thought about the day that you were born, and how the doctor spanked or pinched you to make you take that first breath?

Now have you ever thought about that first breath and considered the fact that God breathed life into you?
That's right; God gave you your first breath to bring you to life.

So many times we forget how God is with us from the moment we are born till the day we die (or fall asleep for believers).
What, it doesn't seem like God has been with you lately, or maybe He has put you on hold for something more important to take care of?
Don't believe that for a minute.

The fact is that God started working in your life before you were born and He's not finished yet.
Sometimes it seems that God isn't there, but in reality it's us who's not really there with the Lord, or we're just doing something out of His will trying to make God bend to our own desires.
But God is always there with you doing a good work in you. Meaning that God has a purpose for your life and He will complete it in His way and His time, even if it doesn't seem so right now.
So next time you think God is not there, remember that God is not a quitter and will not walk away from a job He has started.
Even if that job is in you!

  • Phil 1:6 And I am sure that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again.
