Ex 33:13-15

13 "Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is Your people." 14 And He said, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest." 15 Then he said to Him, "If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.

I am very blessed by the Lord.
No, I am not rich or famous, but I have a wonderful wife and kids, and good job, a nice home to live in, good running cars for my wife and myself. We have never gone hungry and the Lord has always supplied for all our needs.
The Lord has even allowed me to teach his word for over five years now.
I am truly blessed by the Lord.
But you know what, I feel like Moses here in verse 15.

If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.

Or my interpretation for myself is, If Your presence does not go with us, then I don't want any of these blessings.

They have a new show on TV where they will take a families home and in seven days rip it apart and rebuild it into a dream home while the family is out having a good time.
These people come back and they are totally amazed with their new home, including new appliances, TV's, stereos, furniture, beds, everything is brand new.
But you know what, in a short time you can go back and ask them if they are truly fulfilled and happy with life, and if they are not Christians, you can rest assured that they will tell you that even though they have their dream home, they still feel an emptiness inside.

Things of this world are ok, but they will never fulfill that emptiness in your life, only Jesus can do that.
If you are not a Christian, ask the Lord to fill that emptiness inside of you by coming into your life.
If you are a Christian and you feel an emptiness, maybe you should stop trying to fill it with things of this world. Ask the Lord to forgive you for trying to find happiness in earthly things, and ask Him to fill that void in your life. If you do, then God may answer you with "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest."
