Psalms 97:6

The heavens declare His righteousness,
And all the peoples see His glory.

We have all enjoyed a beautiful sunset, or a star filled sky on a warm summer's evening.
We are thankful for the rain during those dry times of the year and even the snow during Christmas.
We see the leaves change on the trees during the fall and the flowers blooming on the hillside in the springtime.
Everywhere we look, we see the glory of God and His creation.
However, some take it to far and worship the creation and not the creator.

  • Romans 1:20-25 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man--and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. 24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

  • Even today, people call it Mother Nature, but mother refers to a woman not God.

they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man

So don't get caught up in the world's thinking and calling it mother nature, because all the peoples see His glory , not hers!
