with God

Phil 4:19 (NLT)

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

My wife and me have been married for a little over six years now, and it has been a wonderful six years.
I was thinking the other day about right before we first got married.
We both had very little. I remember my wife worked at the zoo and they would pay the workers .50 cents for each mouse that they caught and $1 for each rat. She rented a room in an apartment and she made so little that she would use this money to buy her food each week.
Me, I also made very little and rented a 10x10 room in a mobile home. When we got married, my wife moved in with me in this little room 10x10 room.
A few months afterwards, we were blessed with a little apartment that did not even have a bedroom, but it was nice and we liked it. After a year are so, we moved into a one-bedroom apartment and the bedroom was really a loft over the living room.
Then we had our first child and had to move before she was a year old, so the Lord blessed us with a two-bedroom apartment with real bedrooms.
Then we had our son and we were growing out of this apartment. So the Lord provided a wonderful three bedroom, three bathroom townhouse for only $50 more them what we were paying for the apartment.
Through all of this, my wife would start to work less and less taking care of the babies, and even though I made more money as the years went on, it still was not enough to cover to difference.
So why am I telling you all of this?
We make or take in less or at least the same amount that we used to six years ago, yet our home has grown from a 10x10 room to what we live in now, also our family has doubled now with the two babies. Nevertheless, God provides for our needs. Sure, it is very tough some months, but God has never let us down and has ALWAYS provided for us without us having to ask help from others.
Therefore, I write this to encourage you and to be a witness of what an awesome and gracious God we do have.

One final thing I have to say is: And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.
