with God

John 3:17

"For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

Do you believe this verse?
It is straight from the bible, but do you believe it?
If you do here is something to think about during Christmas.
How do the world and even a lot of Christians portray Christmas? Well, let's see.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that they could have parties and get drunk.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that they could spend more money then they have and go into debt.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world would teach their children about a man who doesn't exist, and lie to their children about him leaving gifts for them, if they are good of course.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that they could have a few days off of work.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that they would buy stuff for people that no one would buy for themselves because they are so useless.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that they would care about others at least once a year.

Sad to say this is what the world and even we as Christians do with the birth of Jesus.
But the real reason Jesus was born was because: For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

This Christmas, and everyday, may you share the true meaning of the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior with all!
