And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.


I don't know about you, but I don't have a lot of money. In fact we live from paycheck to paycheck each week.
There are months I wonder if we will even make it, with all the bills and groceries and rent and so on.
But you know what, we do make it each month, each week and each day as God always provides for our needs.
Sometimes I just don't know how God does it, or where the money comes from, but God always comes through. Even this month we had to pay the registration on our cars, and if you live in California you know that the cost has tripled. But still God has provided.
We are also moving the end of the month into a larger house (from an apartment) and the rent increase is almost nothing, but we are getting so much more for God's money (it's all God's, He just lets us use it).
Now I'm not boasting or bragging on what we have or will have. No, my boast is in the Lord.
Maybe today finds you in hard times wondering how you are going to make it through the month, or the week, or even the day. I write this today as words of encouragement to you, that my God will supply all your needs just as the devotional verse says.
Now don't get me wrong, there have been times I wondered if God would really come through this time or not, but even when I doubt, God always proves me wrong and He is always right. Then I have to ask forgiveness for not trusting Him in the first place.
One more verse that I use a lot here.

  • Prov 3:5
    • Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
    And lean not on your own understanding;

    Notice it says not to just trust God but to trust in the LORD with all your heart.
    Meaning to trust God with everything you got.
    Others that you trusted in the past may have let you down, but know that God cannot lie (the only thing God can't do) and if He says to trust Him with all your heart, then you can do it and know He wont let you down.
    God has NEVER, EVER let me down, and He will never let you down either if you trust in Him with all your heart.
