5 Minutes a day / 5 Days a week

with God

Phil 4:8

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things.

How was your day yesterday?
Maybe good or bad, but the real question is, what consumed your thoughts or what did you think about most of the day.
Was it a man or a woman that you may have a crush on?
Was it your family?
Maybe you are having financial problems; did you spend most of the day thinking of them?
Maybe you thought about some sort of dessert or food that you where craving?
Did you think about a movie or TV show you saw?
Maybe something you read in a book or saw on the Internet?

What you need to realize is, that whatever consumes your thoughts is your god.

Think about it, how much time did you spend thinking about the Lord verses other things, like those mentioned or whatever it was?
Whatever it was, was it more important then the Lord?
Did you hand it to Him in prayer in the morning, but continued to hold onto it throughout the day?

So today and everyday, think about what or who you are thinking of throughout the day.
What is more important then the Lord?
What is so bad, or good, that God can't handle without you thinking about it all day, instead of God and His goodness and awesomeness!
