Ex 34:25-26
25 "You shall not offer the blood of My sacrifice with leaven, nor shall the sacrifice of the Feast of the Passover be left until morning. 26 "The first of the firstfruits of your land you shall bring to the house of the LORD your God. You shall not boil a young goat in its mother's milk."
Why? A question we all seem to ask.
A question we all seem to ask God a lot.
We are sometimes like little kids, when their parents tell them to do something. What is their first response? Why!
God gives us a command and what is our response? Why!
We question God over and over instead of just being obedient.
Oh how happy is a parent who's child does not ask why when they are told to do something.
Think of Moses who God is speaking to in today's devotional verses. God gave Moses many commands, but you never read of Moses asking why when God gave the commands.
Are we greater then Moses?
Are we greater then God?
When you ask why you are challenging the persons ability to make the right decision.
When you ask God why concerning His commands, you are questioning God.
Job 40:6-8 6 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said:
7 "Now prepare yourself like a man;
I will question you, and you shall answer Me:
8 "Would you indeed annul My judgment?
Would you condemn Me that you may be justified?
I wont, will you?
