Ex 33:12-16

12 Then Moses said to the LORD, "See, You say to me, 'Bring up this people.' But You have not let me know whom You will send with me. Yet You have said, 'I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.' 13 "Now therefore, I pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your sight. And consider that this nation is Your people." 14 And He said, "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest." 15 Then he said to Him, "If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. 16 "For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth."

By now we should all know that if we won the Lotto that all our problems wouldn't go away, and that they would be just more expensive problems.
But maybe you are seeking other ways to take care of some of your problems or things you are going through.
I know for me personally, I have problems that need to be taken care of. I also have a few options on how to take care of these problems.
They both seem good and right, but my question is, "Will the Lord be with me and is He giving me these or at least one of these as the answer to my problems?"
If the answer is no, then I don't want to use these ways to take care of my problems.

In today's devotional verses, this is when Moses was leading the children of Israel out of Egypt. But before he went to far, Moses wanted to make sure that the Lord was with him and the people, if not then he was willing to stay right where he was until the Lord directed him otherwise.

We should have the same attitude, if the Lord is not leading then who are you following, or who is leading your life?

I know for my family and me, I want the Lord to lead us, even if the road isn't always as smooth as I would like it to be. As long as I am following the Lord and my family is following with me, I know that everything will be all right.
It's when I am not following the Lord's direction that I need to worry.

What about you? Are you trusting in God for the answers or the world for the answers?
If you are not really trusting in God, then who are you really following?
If you are trusting God, then its time to take that step of faith and walk with Him!
