Luke 24:39-40
39 "Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have." 40 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet.
As you read throughout the four Gospels, it tells of Jesus and how he touched and healed others and walked everywhere He went.
Jesus used His hands and feet a lot to minister to others.
Maybe satan thought that by nailing Jesus' hands and feet to the cross that He would be useless.
But the truth was, that Jesus' greatest work was done while His hands and feet were nailed to the cross and of no use to anyone.
Sometimes our situations seem hopeless, like our hands and feet are tied and we are can't to do anything.
The problem is that we are looking at the physical things and physical answers to our problems. But Jesus teaches us not to look to earthly things for comfort or help but to look up.
Luke 21:28 "Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near."
Jesus says this as He is telling the disciples about the end times when all hell will break loose on the earth.
Jesus also said this in the parable about the sower.
Matt 13:22 "Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
When we spend more time worrying about our worldly problems. Like bills and rent and food and car payments and everything else, we are taking time away from doing the work the Lord has called us all to do.
Basically we are tying our own hands and feet, preventing us from moving forward in our walk with the Lord.
So just pray about your problems and give them to the Lord, then leave them with Him. Then go do what you should be doing for the Lord.
Your hands and feet may be tied concerning your problems, but remember that Jesus' greatest work was done on the cross when all seemed impossible.
