with God

2 Tim 1:3

I thank God, whom I serve with a pure conscience, as my forefathers did, as without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day,

Yesterday I shared with you my vision for the things I believe that the Lord has lain upon my heart to do.
But there is one more part I left out. I had posted on this site requests for others about the worship website, I had a few examples of the children's website posted looking for feedback, and even recently I posted on the homepage a request for prayer warriors for those who come to this site and myself also.
I got zero response from anyone.
This really frustrated me. After all, I never asked for money, only others interest in these things and prayer.

I write this not for myself but for your pastor in your church. You would be amazed at how much he does and how little gratitude he receives.
How many times have you thanked him for anything?
How many times have you really meant it?
Encouragement is very important for everyone. I remember a time I wrote my wife a little note saying thank you for being a good mom to our children and a good wife to me. That's all, but she was so happy with just a one-sentence word of thanks because she knew I meant it.
Don't you do a better job when you are thanked, then when your hard work is ignored!

Your pastor already does a good job, just think how much better it would be if you wrote a simple note, sent him an e-mail, or gave him a call and said thank you for all you are doing.
Maybe there is someone else who needs words of encouragement. Go do the same for him or her also.
God may just send the right person to encourage you when you need it.
Wouldn't it be great to know that you did the same for others!
