Acts 3:19

"Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,

This week we are looking at the four "R's" of sharing the gospel.
The third one is based on today's devotional verse, which is Repent .

Now this may be a hard one for some, because they recognize that they are sinners and realize that Jesus died for their sins, but to repent is to stop doing what they think is ok or maybe even like to do.
This is where the enemy will snag some because even though they are sinners, some really enjoy it and don't want to stop. This is where prayer comes in while you are sharing the gospel with others. You don't have to pray out loud, just quietly in your heart, speak to the Lord and asked Him to change their hearts and the way they see their sin.

Also this is a very important thing not to miss as we are sharing the gospel. We tend to just glean over or even over look it thinking it will scare people away. But the scriptures make it very clear that you must believe in Jesus but also repent or turn from your sins.
There is no such thing as a half saved person. After all, which half would get into the heaven, the top or bottom half?

So we are almost to the end of sharing the gospel. See it's not that hard and only four verses are needed to remember.

Now they have recognized , realized and repented , finally they need to receive , which will be the final devotional tomorrow.

They all can be found at:
