Happiness or sadness or wealth should not keep anyone from doing God's work.

So how was your weekend?
A simple question we are asked every Monday.
Did you go to church and if so did you get fired up for the Lord?
Maybe you did go to church but only got a spark.
Maybe you had a terrible weekend. You may have been sick or things just didn't turn out the way you expected them to.

Here is another question. Will the way your weekend turned out determine if you are a witness for Jesus or not?
If you had a great weekend and got all fired up at church, are you ready to conquer the world with the gospel?
I hope the answer would be yes. But if not, it should not affect the work we are doing, or should be doing for the Lord.
Read it again.

Happiness or sadness or wealth should not keep anyone from doing God's work.

So just as you may have had a good weekend, a bad one or just a mediocre one and you have to go back to your job, don't let it affect your witness or the work you are doing for the Lord.
