Psalms 119:133 (NLT)
Guide my steps by your word,
so I will not be overcome by any evil.
Taking one look at a road map they seem hard to read. But if you really take a little time to study the map, you would find it's not as hard as it seems.
But the key is to stop and take the time to study it before you start on your trip. If not, you could be halfway from nowhere, and don't know how to get back on the road where you where headed on in the first place.
So you would pull out the map and get frustrated because you can't read the darn thing.
But if you took the time before or even during the trip to study the road map, when you seem to veer off course, you can find your way back to where you where headed.
It's the same with our walk with the Lord, sometimes we tend to veer off track, and when we do, as a last resort we pull out our bibles looking for direction. We can't seem to find what we are looking for, so we get frustrated and just put it down.
But if we are in the word everyday, studying God's word, when we veer off course, we know where to look, because we studied the road map to life, which is the bible.
So continue on with this trip trough life, and study the road map along the way. Maybe you wont veer off course, but others may, and if you know the road map (the bible) you can steer them back in the right direction.
