5 Minutes a day / 5 Days a week

with God

Romans 8:38 (NLT)

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can't, and life can't. The angels can't, and the demons can't. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away.

Have you ever felt like God was disappointed with you?
Maybe you have had those feeling lately, wondering why God has forgotten about you.
If you have then today's devotional verse is for you.
We tend to think that God's love is based on how much we love Him or how much we do. But God's love is never changing, meaning if you love Him or not, He still loves you.
If you do a lot or a little, God still loves you the same.
As a Christian and God's creation, God will always love you with an everlasting love.

Still wondering how much love God has for you?

  • 1 Cor 13:4-7 (NLT) 4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or rude. Love does not demand its own way. Love is not irritable, and it keeps no record of when it has been wronged. 6 It is never glad about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

  • If we as believers should have this type of love, how much more does God love us!
One more thing, in the verses in 1 Cor, where you see the word love, add the following: "God's Love for insert your name"
