Acts 3:7-8 (NLT)

7 Then Peter took the lame man by the right hand and helped him up. And as he did, the man's feet and anklebones were healed and strengthened. 8 He jumped up, stood on his feet, and began to walk! Then, walking, leaping, and praising God, he went into the Temple with them.


We go to church each week and get all excited about it. We love the praise and worship to the Lord and we love the teaching and the fellowship.
We get all excited so we invite others. We think that they will have a great time just like we do. But most of the time they say, "No thank you."
When they do come, we ask them what they thought and they just say, "It was OK."

Now, if you will read today's devotional verses again, we read that the man went into the temple leaping and praising the Lord. But before he did, Peter ministered to him.
If you want others to experience the same joy you do in church, they must first know the One who is giving you that joy, and that someone is Jesus.

So share Jesus with them, after all it's not the pastor job to save them. The job belongs to all of us.

  • Mark 16:15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.


    • Jesus never said to go into the world and invite them to church
