John 14:6

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

"That's your interpretation."

How many times have we heard this?
All this is is a cop-out to the truth of God's word.

Case in point.
All cars come with an owner's manual. In the manual it may tell you how to start the car. The instructions may be like:

Make sure the car is in "P" (park).
Put key in ignition.
Turn the key forward to start the car.
When car engines starts running, let go of key.

Now someone may come along and say, "That's your interpretation on how to start a car."

It's not a matter of interpretation, but rather a matter of instruction.

The bible isn't to be read so that we can interpret it. It's written as simple instructions for us in life here on this earth, and how to obtain eternal life in heaven.

"Well that's your interpretation."

Say that to God who wrote the instructions!
