Amos 7:14-15 (NLT)

14 But Amos replied, "I'm not one of your professional prophets. I certainly never trained to be one. I'm just a shepherd, and I take care of fig trees. 15 But the LORD called me away from my flock and told me, 'Go and prophesy to my people in Israel.'

God will choose anyone to proclaim the gospel.
You don't have to be a collage graduate and have a degree.
You don't have to go to seminary.
You don't have too wear the latest fashions.
You could be skinny or fat.
You could be tall or short.
You could be a cashier at a gas station or an executive in a law firm.
You can be a housewife, or a plumber.
You can be a garbage collector or a janitor.

Amos was a normal man minding his own business doing his job as a shepherd and farmer when God called him into the ministry.

God can do the same with you to. The question is, when He does call will you be obedient?
Sure you may not feel worthy, but that's a good thing because as soon as you do, then you are of no good to the kingdom because your work would be based upon your goodness and wisdom and not God's.

God does a good job at keeping me humble, because I know all of these teachings are from Him and I will never be able to boast over any of it.
When God calls you, it will be because you realize that you are worthless without Him working through you.
So I will ask the same question to end today's devotional: when He does call will you be obedient?
If you say yes, don't worry that you aren't good enough or smart enough or wise enough because you're not. It will be all because of His wisdom and ability working through you, and God will receive the glory and you will never be able to boast because of what you think you did.
