Deut 7:7-8

7 "The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; 8 "but because the LORD loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the LORD has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

The Lord loves us with an unconditional love!
Why? There is no why, He just does.
You see, it's not because you did anything great or said anything great or because you loved Him first. The plain facts are that God loves you, period!

Notice what it says in today's devotional verses: because the LORD loves you.
There is nothing after that as to why He loves us. No because you did this or that. No because you gave this or that.
No, just plain and simple, God loves you.
So don't try to figure out why because you are not God. Just accept His love and know that there is nothing more you can do to earn or make Him love you more.
Very simply it's: because the LORD loves you.
