Luke 17:14-17
14 So when He saw them, He said to them, "Go, show yourselves to the priests." And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. 15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan. 17 So Jesus answered and said, "Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine?
Have you ever been to a Harvest crusade or a revival meeting or a Billy Graham crusade or seen them on TV where hundreds go forward to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior?
I have to wonder how many of them were truly saved and how many where just caught up in the moment.
I don't know the answer but Jesus gives us an example right here in today's devotional verses, possibly one out of ten.
Now I'm not say that this is always true and I pray that all are, but even the pastors leading the crusades will admit that all are not saved even though they come forward.
So how do you know which ones are saved and which aren't? Jesus gives us another example today also.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.
He came back and worshipped God, and not with just a little quite thank you, but notice it was with a loud voice.
What about you, are you giving Jesus a quite little thank you once in a while, or are you continually praising and worshipping Him with a loud voice?
