Micah 1: 3-4

3 For behold, the LORD is coming out of His place;
He will come down
And tread on the high places of the earth.
4 The mountains will melt under Him,
And the valleys will split
Like wax before the fire,
Like waters poured down a steep place.

We have all seen on TV the huge mountains of snow come tumbling down.
To be there and hear the sounds of rumbling when this happens must be awesome.
But this is just snow, but what about a landslide where the rain causes the dirt and mud and rocks to slide down; also an awesome and terrifying thing to see.
These are things that happen all the time here on the earth. But do you realize that God is so awesome that when He appears the mountains will melt like wax.
I know of no one who can do this with just his presence.

But that's how awesome God is.
We tend to forget that and take God for granted.
So next time you see the snow come tumbling down a mountain or a mudslide, remember the awesomeness of God.
The God we love and serve!
