Phil 4:19-20
19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20 Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
As some of you may know, I have a desire to do another website for children teaching them the bible with animated cartoons or computer graphics.
Looking into the cost of the required software, it ranges from anywhere from $1,500.00 and up. Now that's a lot of money, which I don't have.
So I have two choices or three really.
The first is to buy a pirated or illegal copy of one of these programs for a few dollars. But this is illegal and God would not be glorified in it nor would He bless the ministry.
Second is to wait on God to supply what I need to teach our children His word. (This is what I am doing now)
Third is to just say forget it. These programs are too complicated and expensive. This one is too tough for God to handle.
Maybe God has put a calling on your life and you have one of three choices, which are the three I just mentioned.
First you can depend upon the world and what it has to offer.
Second you can just do and if it God's will, He will supply your needs. (Sometimes this means waiting for His provision).
Or third you could just say forget it, God would never use me like that.
If I had the third attitude this website would not be here today and no telling what I would be doing right now, or not doing.
There is also a fourth option that I have even prayed about for what I want to do, and that's to let someone else do it. This is not the same as option three, but maybe God has lain upon your heart to do something or for something to be done, but He wants someone else to do it. Where do you fit in? Well maybe you could be there to supply someone else's needs or to encourage them or what ever the Lord would have you to do.
The bible does teach this fourth item. If you will remember, king David wanted to build God's Temple, but God said no because David had killed to much. But also since this was a good thing that king David wanted to do, God had his son Solomon do it and God used David to help supply the material as well as the plans for God's Temple.
So if God has given you something to do. Don't use the world's way of doing it or to supply your needs, and don't think it can't happen. Remember that God is in charge and He knows what He's doing.
And we know if we are in God's will, then there will be:
To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
