Psalms 55:22

Cast your burden on the LORD,
And He shall sustain you;
He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

You may have heard of the example of faith as the chair you are sitting on.
If not the example is as follows: When you came up to the chair you are sitting on, you didn't have to inspect it or wonder if it would hold you up this time. Because after all these years the chair you are sitting on has never let you down (no pun intended). No you have faith that the chair will would you up as you sit in it, because you have grown to trust the chair and that it would do it's job.
It should be the same way with the Lord. After all these years of walking with the Lord has He ever let you down? I don't think so!

So thinking of this example, I have a question for you. Is your God and strong sturdy chair that you put your faith in everyday, knowing that no matter what He will sustain you and hold you up?
Or, is your god and rickety old chair that is falling apart and you have to worry every time you sit on it if it will hold you up?
