with God

Romans 10:1

Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved.

It seems so many are against Israel. I am thankful that we live in a nation who supports them.
But I am even more thankful that the Lord has put Israel on my heart each morning to pray for them and their salvation.

I have never been to Israel, although I would love to go. For some reason it seems like home to me, maybe because it's God's chosen people and land and I was chosen by God to be saved. Maybe because I have read about all that they have gone through in the bible.
I want to encourage King David not to sin with Bathsheba or number the people. I want to tell Solomon not to marry non-Jewish women. I want to stop Adam and Eve from eating the forbidden fruit. I want to tell Judas not to betray my Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
But I can't because these things have already happened along with so many others.

But I can pray for those who are there right now.
What about you? Ask the Lord to put His people, Israel on your heart each day to pray for them and their salvation. Then don't stop there, but pray for the world, that it would repent and turn to the Lord.
