5 Minutes a day / 5 Days a week

with God

2 Tim 3:2-5 (NLT)

You should also know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times.2 For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3 They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control; they will be cruel and have no interest in what is good. 4 They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. 5 They will act as if they are religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. You must stay away from people like that.

After reading today's devotional verses, did you sense that you are living in a world just like this right now?

Paul calls these times "the last days" because the days are very few until our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ returns for His bride, which is us!

So in these last days here is something to think about. What if you knew that one of your non-Christian friends was going to be hit by a car and die tomorrow at exactly 12:00 noon, what would you do?
Hopefully you would do all you can to stop this from happening. You make lock them in your house until this times passes just to keep them off the street.
But the thing is we don't know when someone is going to die, so we are playing Russian rule let with our friends lives.
We may think, "I'll tell them tomorrow about Jesus." Or "I'll wait until Easter and invite them to church so they can hear about Jesus." What if they don't make it until Easter Sunday?
I'm not trying to ruin your day, but these are the last days and Jesus may very well return before Easter Sunday. If you knew Jesus would return before Easter Sunday what would you tell your friend?
Why not live like Jesus is returning before Sunday!
