with God

Romans 8:26-27

26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

It's so much fun having a little baby. Our little girl is 4 ½ months old right now and she is great.
But there is a little communication problem. You see, even though she is smart and beautiful, she doesn't know how to talk yet.
But still she communicates with us. This communication is something it seems that only the parents know.
When she cries we know her different cries and what they mean. But she not only cries, she also coos, and aahs, and makes all sorts of cool sounds including trying to sing. (Yes she blows bubbles and spits (raspberries) too.)

But I'm not here to tell you about my baby but your relationship with the Lord.
There are times that we are so distressed that we can't seem to find the words to say. In our frustration we scream, cry and sigh.
But do you know when you do that, even though words are not coming out of your mouth, God knows exactly what you are saying and what you mean.
That's right, just like we as parents can understand our little girl, God our Father can understand all the noises we make.

So go ahead and scream, cry, sigh or even laugh during the day. God says, "I hear you and understand. I'm right here with you."
