Phil 4:6-7

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Today's devotional is also a prayer request for this ministry.
It seems God has really lain upon my heart to expand these teachings and it's been something I have been praying about for some time now.
What are the expansions you may be wondering?
Well, as you know, we already have a daily devotional as well as a weekly bible study for adults. My heart has been to add a weekly study for the youth (teens) and also one for the children that would helps us to teach our little ones the bible, this would include some sort of animation or cartoons. I also want to put all the teachings and devotionals on a CD that would be given to anyone who would request it for free. But that's a lot of studies and over 300 devotionals and it is all growing each week.
But even more recently I feel the Lord has lain upon my heart to go even further, and that is to teach a chapter a day from the bible.
Now there are 1189 chapters in the bible, and to teach a chapter a day, five days a week, we could study the whole bible in four and a half years, if I did it six days a week it would take us over three and a half, almost four years. So by the end of 4-4.5 years we would have a commentary on the whole bible.
I have told the Lord I would love to do this and I pray about it everyday.
But in order for me to do this I would have to do it full time, which would mean quitting my job. But I also have a wife and our children to take care of.

So am I asking for money from you? NO! This ministry has never, nor will it ever ask for any money from anyone. It is God's website and He provides as He wants it to continue.

So then what is my request?

But in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

I ask for your prayers for God's provisions to be able to do this and take care of my family. I ask you to pray if it's not God's will then He will let me know, and if it is, that He will increase my faith and let me know without a doubt that this is what He has laid upon my heart to do and I would do it.
I ask you to thank the Lord for this site and how it has ministered to you through His word, not mine.
If this is something you think is a good thing from the Lord and would minister to you, then ask Him for it. Also an e-mail letting me know you are praying for this ministry and me would be nice also.

I have gotten e-mails over time from people who are teaching God's word because of the studies here that may had never thought about teaching. I have gotten e-mails from churches even outside of the USA that are using these studies to teach others in their churches and small groups. I even got an e-mail from someone who is using the studies in Genesis to teach English to those in other countries.
Now I am not bragging at all, I just want you to see how awesome God is, and what He is doing through this ministry, and if you have been praying for me and others who come here, then you are a part of this ministry also. So God is not only using me, but you too!

I want to thank you for your prays, and more so, thank God for using me and working through me, because none of this I have been able to do on my own. Only by His will and grace!
