5 Minutes a day / 5 Days a week
with God
Heb 13:15
Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.
As I am writing this, it's mid-January and a beautiful day here in California. The sun is shining and it's about 70 degrees outside.
I love days like this. It makes me want to thank the Lord for all of His blessings.
But I know in other parts of the country they are having severe snow storms, it doesn't seem like the right conditions to be praising the Lord right now, does it?
But if you read today's devotional verse again, you will notice one key word and that word is "continually" . Not when the weather is good. Not when you have extra money in your pocket. Not after the trial you are going through is over; but continually, meaning all the time.
So the weather may be good or bad where you are. Things may be going great or terrible for you right now. But remember that God is in control of all things, including your life and HE will always take care of you no matter what.
Now isn't that something to praise Him for even in a snow storm!
