Gal 2:14
But when I saw that they were not straightforward about the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter before them all, "If you, being a Jew, live in the manner of Gentiles and not as the Jews, why do you compel Gentiles to live as Jews?
One of the hardest things is to have someone come to you when you are wrong and question what you are doing.
We tend to fight back, even when we know that we are wrong, just so we don't look bad.
But that should not be so. When we are wrong about something we should admit it and thank the person who brought it to our attention.
I know of a time personally, years ago when I said some things to the pastor that just wasn't right. It got so bad that I ended up leaving the church to go somewhere else. But very soon afterwards I knew I was wrong and had to go and ask forgiveness of my pastor as well as other pastors and elders in the church.
Yes, they forgave me and I have been back there for a while now, but it would have been so much easier to admit I was wrong at the beginning, then to argue and leave the church and then having to go back and apologize for my ignorance.
Maybe someone has said something to you in the church. I would encourage you to listen, especially when it's concerning sin. Because you can argue all you want with them, but when it comes to being in sin, you will always lose. I almost lost the church and people I love because of my pride. Thanks be to God that He broke me of this.
What does God want to do in your life?
He may send someone to tell you. Listen!
