Matt 10:28

"And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Because of all that's going on in the news these days with wars and rumors of wars, the news stations have been asking people if they were afraid.
Any fear would be another attack on the USA, fear of anthrax and fear of dieing.

As I heard this I thought about my family and myself. Am I afraid? Do I fear an attack on the USA or being killed with biological warfare?
I am happy to say the answer is NO!
I am overjoyed that my wife and most of my family all know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Many of my friends do also.
I'm rather excited about all that's happening, because I know that each moment of the day Jesus could return and take us (the church) home to heaven.
But even if He doesn't, I know that when I die I will be with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven.

What about you? Do you fear death? What about your family, if we were attacked do you know where they would go if they died?
Tough questions but ones we need to ask ourselves everyday.
If you and/or your family don't know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, I understand your fear, because I also was in that position years ago.
But there is still hope and that hope is in Jesus Christ, that's where my hope is today.

Acts 24:15 (NLT) I have hope in God, just as these men do, that he will raise both the righteous and the ungodly.

If you want this same hope, just pray this prayer and believe it in your heart.

Jesus, I admit I am a sinner. I believe You died for all my sins on the cross and rose from the dead three day later. Please forgive me for my sins, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Please remove my fears and may my hope be in You. Now may I share what You did on the cross with my family, friends and anyone else You would have me share with. Thank You Jesus. I pray this in Your name. Amen!

If you just prayed this prayer and believe it in your heart, you are now a Christian. Welcome to the family of God. Tell someone what you did, start reading your bible and find a good church to attend in your area.

Maybe you already are a Christian, but your friends and/or family are fearing what's going on, share Jesus with them and let Jesus calm their fears.
