Act 17:26

"And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,

Let's talk about bigotry today, or to put it more bluntly, racism or prejudice.
As believers we are told by God to love all people, just as the song says, "Red and yellow black or white they are precious in His sight."
I think it would be safe to say that most, if not all of you who read these devotionals don't have a problem with racism.

But there are others around you who do. Next time you encounter someone like this, quote to him or her today's verse where God says that ALL where created from the blood of one man, which we know as Adam.
So what does that mean to someone who is prejudice?
It means that if they have a problem with someone of another color then they have a problem with their own color, because the same blood that flows through the other person is the same blood that flows through them.

  • Romans 2:11 For there is no partiality with God.

  • But then they must realize that it's also the same blood that flowed through Jesus, which was shed for our sins.

  • 1 John 1:7 (NLT) But if we are living in the light of God's presence, just as Christ is, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from every sin.

  • So remind that person what the bible says, and more important that Jesus died for ALL, not just a chosen race or color. He even died and paid for the sin of bigotry.
