1 Cor 15:58 (NLT)

So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and steady, always enthusiastic about the Lord's work, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless.

How many people at work or school or even your home know you are a Christian?
Do they make fun of you because you are?

Today's devotional verse is a verse of encouragement to all not to be discouraged.
Always remember that whatever the Lord has you doing is not useless.
Even if it's being a good witness by the way you work and your attitude there.
Your attitude does affect others at work too.
When others are complaining about their jobs or the company and you don't, that's a witness to them.
Why, because the bible says when we work we do it as we are doing it unto the Lord.

Eph 6:6-8 (NLT) 6 Work hard, but not just to please your masters when they are watching. As slaves of Christ, do the will of God with all your heart. 7 Work with enthusiasm, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. 8 Remember that the Lord will reward each one of us for the good we do, whether we are slaves or free.

And as today's verse says:
"Nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless!"
