Your words are what sustain me. They bring me great joy and are my heart's delight, for I bear your name, O LORD God Almighty.

Are you looking for unspeakable joy in your life?
Well, you have just found the secret to it in today's verse. God's word!

I find no matter what I am going through, as soon as I start talking about the Lord or His word, I forget about my problems and I am filled with a joy like none other this earth can provide.

Maybe someone around you is in need of someone to talk to or to pray with. Stop what you're doing and share with them God's joy (His word), or take the time to listen and pray for them or with them.

Start speaking God's word out loud to others, or just start talking about how good the Lord is, and you will start feeling the Lord's joy in your life and they will too.

Why is this such a secret? Really it's not a secret, it's just that satan doesn't want you to know about it, because he wants us to be miserable, and he certainly doesn't want God's word to be spoken. Why, because God's word is truth.

John 17:17 "Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth.

And Satan doesn't want the truth going out. Why?

John 8:44 "You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

Also when you speak God's word you're not lying. Because God's word is truth, and there's always joy in speaking the truth!
