I'm torn between two desires: Sometimes I want to live, and sometimes I long to go and be with Christ. That would be far better for me,

We as Christians are always looking for Jesus' return, which we should be doing.
But to tell you the truth, I'm glad Jesus didn't come back 23 years ago when I was 19. Because if He had, then I may have been lost in my sins forever.

You see, I accepted the Lord almost 23 years ago, but if He had come back before then, then I would have had to go through the seven-year tribulation and it would have been a lot harder to accept Jesus, and I may not have done it then.
Aren't you glad God waited till you were saved and didn't come back before you made that decision?

So we need to continue to look for, and be ready for Jesus' return.
But also be thankful for God's patience so that others will join us in heaven.
