5 Minutes a day / 5 Days a week

with God

1 Thess 4:9 (NLT)

But I don't need to write to you about the Christian love that should be shown among God's people. For God himself has taught you to love one another.

Have you ever noticed how much Christian's stick together when someone is in need?

I noticed this on one occasion. You see, my wife had an operation, and immediately the women from the church were figuring out a schedule to bring us dinner.
Don't get me wrong, I am a good cook, In fact my wife really likes my cooking. But still they are willing to show their love to us in this special way.
Others called her the day before the surgery and prayed with her, which is something the world does not do.
And why do these people do these things? Because they learned it from God!

Have you ever really thought about that? We learn how to be Christians because we have God and Jesus as examples to follow.

Someone was in need; Jesus was there to help them. Someone cries out to God, and He is there to help him or her.
Some does God wrong, He still loves them. You deny Jesus, and He still loves you!

So today as you are with people, or just even see someone in need, ask yourself; how would God or Jesus treat them at that particular moment?

Or how would you want God to handle the situation if you where that person in need of something or even forgiveness?
